The tools are half of it. The other half is turning up.
I’m Pawel. For over ten years I’ve been the person West London calls when the list gets too long — first for a maintenance company, and for years now as Mr Fix It, my own fully insured limited company based in Hounslow.
Somewhere along the way I noticed the thing customers mention is never the mitre joint or the perfect bead of silicone. It’s “he came when he said he would”. So that became the business: do the work properly, and treat people’s time and homes like they matter. The 50+ five-star reviews mostly say some version of that.
How Mr Fix It got here
Ten thousand small jobs
Working for a West London maintenance firm: tenanted flats, tight schedules, every trade’s everyday problems. The best apprenticeship there is — you learn what actually goes wrong in homes, and how to fix it without drama.
Mr Fix It is born
Out on my own with a van, a phone number and a promise: the price before the work, the tidy-up after it. The name came from what customers kept saying when they saved my number.
Call Mr Fix It Services Ltd
Limited company, full public liability insurance, proper invoices. Partly for the landlords who needed the paperwork — mostly because doing things properly is the whole point.
The laser arrives
After watching one too many Victorian gates ruined by wire wheels and one too many brick walls scarred by blasting, I invested in a professional laser cleaning machine. As far as I know, no other handyman in West London carries one. It changed the business →
Your handyman, 15 miles around Hounslow
Homeowners, landlords and small agents across 24 areas. Most days: a list in the morning, a laser job in the afternoon, photos sent, van packed, home for dinner.
Three rules I don’t bend
You’ll have the number before I pick up a tool, and if anything changes mid-job, the tools go down and we talk. Nobody gets surprised by my invoice.
It’s the easiest promise in this trade to keep, and somehow the rarest. If I’m ever running late, you’ll know before I am.
Gas, notifiable electrics and roofs go to certified specialists, and I’ll tell you so on the phone. I’d rather lose a job than do one badly.
What I don’t do (and who does)
Gas Safe engineers only — I can recommend mine.
Part P registered electricians. I stop at non-notifiable work.
Specialist trades. I’ll do the small repairs around them.

Now you know me. What’s on the list?
Call or WhatsApp — you’ll get me, not a call centre, and usually within the hour.
