This page is the full menu. Seven trades’ worth of everyday jobs, done by one insured, ten-years-experienced pair of hands, from a £50 minimum call-out. If you can’t see your job, call anyway — the odd-job list below is nowhere near complete.
Start with the problem, not the trade
Most people don’t know if they need a plumber, a carpenter or “just a handyman”. Pick what’s actually wrong and I’ll take you to the right page.

General handyman & odd jobs
Shelves, curtain poles, locks, sticking doors, sealant, draught-proofing, small repairs — the list that never quite gets done.
02Plumbing
Taps, leaks, running toilets, silicone, washing machines and dishwashers installed. Gas work honestly referred out.
03Electrical
Sockets, switches, light fittings, extractor fans. Non-notifiable work only, and I’ll tell you when it isn’t.
04Carpentry
Doors hung, eased and stopped sticking, skirting, architrave, shelving, timber repairs.
05Flat-pack & furniture assembly
IKEA and everyone else. Wardrobes, beds, desks, drawers — built square, anchored to the wall, boxes gone.
06TV mounting, blinds & hanging
TVs on brick or plasterboard, mirrors, blinds, curtain rails, pictures. Level, secure, cables hidden.
07Property maintenance for landlords
One number for every property. Tenant lists handled in one visit, photos sent, invoices from a fully insured Ltd.

Rust, paint, graffiti, stone, brick, wood, car parts. The flagship service — it has its own section.
There are jobs I don’t take: gas work (Gas Safe engineers only), consumer unit and other notifiable electrics (Part P), and roofing. If your job is one of those I’ll say so on the phone and point you to someone I’d use in my own house. It costs me a job and keeps my reviews at five stars, which is the better trade.

Before you call
How does the £50 minimum call-out work?
£50 is the least any visit costs, whether the fix takes five minutes or an hour. It covers me getting to you and doing the job. If the work is bigger, I’ll quote a fixed price or a day rate before starting — see the full price guide.
Can you do several small jobs in one visit?
That’s my favourite kind of booking. Send the whole list on WhatsApp and I’ll price it as one visit — it works out much cheaper than booking jobs separately.
Are you insured?
Yes — I trade as Mr Fix It through Call Mr Fix It Services Ltd, a fully insured limited company. Landlords and agents can have insurance details with the invoice.
Which jobs won’t you do?
Gas (Gas Safe only), notifiable electrical work like consumer units (Part P), and roofing. I’ll always tell you on the phone rather than have a go at something that needs a certificate I don’t hold.
How soon can you come?
Usually within the week, often sooner for small jobs — being based in Hounslow means most of West London is under 30 minutes away. Call and I’ll give you an honest date.
