New flats, old semis — Hayes keeps me busy
Hayes is two towns in one: the new developments rising around the station and the Old Vinyl Factory, and the streets of solid 1930s semis that have raised families for ninety years. Twenty minutes from Hounslow, I do the moving-in jobs for one and the keeping-going jobs for the other.
New-flat weeks are flat-pack, TV mounting and curtain tracks by the vanload; semi weeks are taps, doors, fences and the classic family list. UB3 and UB4 both, same number.

Do you do new-build flat kit-outs in Hayes?
All the time — it’s the signature Hayes booking. Send the furniture order links before delivery day and I’ll price the whole kit-out as one visit: assembly, anchoring, mounting, blinds.
Can you drill in a new development with management rules?
Usually yes, within the rules — most restrict structural walls and communal areas, not sensible fixings inside your flat. Check your pack, or show me it and I’ll work within it.
Do you cover the UB4 side and the Uxbridge Road end?
All of Hayes — UB3, UB4, Hayes End and the Yeading border. Twenty-ish minutes, same £50 minimum, no supplements.
