Home Laser cleaning Graffiti removal
Laser graffiti removal · West London

The tag goes. The wall doesn’t know it was there.

Chemical wipes leave a ghost. Jet washing leaves a clean rectangle that shouts ‘graffiti was here’. Blasting scars the brick forever. The laser removes the paint and only the paint, so your wall goes back to being a wall — not a before-and-after of somebody’s tag.

Straight answer

Is the laser right for your job?

Laser is right when…

  • Tags on brick, stone or concretethe laser’s home turf
  • Repeat-target wallsclean removal doesn’t bleach a ‘fresh canvas’ patch
  • Heritage and period fabricno blasting scars on Victorian brick
  • Metal shutters and doorspaint off, galvanising intact

It’s the wrong tool when…

  • Fresh paint on soft modern renderneeds a careful test — sometimes repainting the panel is smarter
  • Painted surfaces where the tag must come off but the paint staylaser strips both; colour-matched overpainting may win
  • Etched glass vandalismthat’s scratched, not painted — glass polishing or replacement

Not sure which side you’re on?

— you’ll get an honest yes or no, not a sales pitch. Sometimes the answer is “overpaint that panel, it’ll look better for less”, and I’ll tell you that too.

How it works —

Spray paint sits in a thin, high-pigment layer that absorbs the beam intensely — it lifts off in very few passes, before the masonry underneath takes any real energy. That’s the difference from every other method: chemicals soak the pigment deeper into porous brick (the ghost), and pressure or blasting removes wall along with paint (the pale scar). The laser removes the tag and nothing else, which also means a repeat tagger doesn’t get rewarded with a freshly-bleached canvas.

Priced from a photo, fast

Single tags from the £50 call-out, larger or multiple pieces quoted per job, communal areas invoiced properly to your Ltd or agency. Offensive material gets bumped up the diary. Full context on the price guide.

Questions

Graffiti removal questions

How much does graffiti removal cost?

A single tag on brick typically starts at the £50 minimum call-out; bigger pieces and multiple locations are quoted from photos. Landlords and agents get Ltd invoices, with a monthly option for repeat sites.

Will there be a ghost or shadow left?

Not with the laser — that ghost is what chemicals leave when they drive pigment deeper into the pores, and the pale rectangle is what jet washing does to the surrounding grime. The laser removes the paint layer alone, so the cleaned area matches the rest of the wall.

How fast can you come?

Usually within days across West London, and I prioritise offensive material — same-day where the diary allows. Repeat-target sites can go on a standing arrangement.

Does removing it stop it happening again?

Nothing guarantees that, but there’s good evidence fast, complete removal is the best deterrent — taggers want their work seen. What the laser specifically avoids is handing them a bleached, blank-canvas rectangle.

Can you remove graffiti from render or painted walls?

Sometimes — soft render and painted surfaces need a test patch, and I’ll tell you honestly when colour-matched overpainting is the smarter fix. I can do that too: I’m a handyman with a laser, not just a laser.
